Works of Hungarian Architects Travelling Worldwide
28.01.2011.The FUGABudapest Architectural Centre is a relatively young location in the city, aiming to become a representative site of its contemporary architecture. In addition, it also seeks to strengthen the relationships between architecture and the related arts by introducing artists from different fields. At the exhibition to open on 13 January and last until 7 February, they will present young architects who share their experiences gained in foreign architectural studios.
The architectural exhibition entitled "KITEKINTÉS" - "OUTLOOK" is organized by the ÉK Association, which aims to contribute to the development of Hungarian architectural culture and the promotion of individual and collective creativity by this activity. The project entitledVocational Training for Young Architects,organised under the Leonardo Lifelong Learning Program, has sent 12 young Hungarian architects for a 1 or 3 months long training period to Iceland, Turkey, Spain, the UK, Portugal and the Netherlands. This exhibition is about their works and experiences.

The center that hosts the exhibition regularly presents works ofnearly all other art forms, as well as its focal field of architecture: the fine arts, classical music, jazz, theatre, family and children's programs, science, books and films. Each topic is accompanied by lectures, forums and workshop discussions, providing an opportunity for regular and occasional visitors to meet each other.
